U srijedu 21.3.2018. godine u Drugoj gimnaziji obilježen je Svjetski dan poezije u organizaciji Vijeća učenika ove sarajevske gimnazije. Učenici Srednje muzičke škole, u pratnji profesorice Merime Skenderović i pedagogice Aide Rustanović, predstavili su se prigodnim recitalom, a zatim učestvovali i u radionicama koje su organizatori pripremili. Našu školu su predstavljali učenici: Isidora Ratković, koja je ovom prilikom prezentirala poeziju koju sama piše, Amila Džebo, poezijom Desanke Maksimović, a atmosferu je uljepšao Andrej Gradina izvedbom na gitari. Učenici su nakon zapaženog nastupa nagrađeni glasnim aplauzom. Zaista je bilo uživanje prisustvovati jednom ovakvom događaju i na najbolji način predstaviti svoju školu.
